Scroll is a zkEVM rollup for Ethereum built by Scroll Tech, with its node, coordinator, and halo2-based zkEVM circuits developed in the open. The project grew out of collaboration with the Ethereum Foundation's Privacy & Scaling Explorations zkEVM effort and underwent multiple third-party circuit audits before mainnet launch. For security researchers, Scroll's circuit repositories are among the largest public halo2 codebases and a practical study target for zkEVM constraint design.
