RISC Zero

Open Source

A general-purpose zkVM proving RISC-V execution, with the Bonsai proving service and an on-chain verifier ecosystem.

About

RISC Zero develops a zero-knowledge virtual machine that generates STARK proofs of RISC-V program execution, allowing developers to write provable programs in Rust and other LLVM languages. The zkVM, its recursion circuits, and on-chain verifier contracts are open source, and the company also operates proving infrastructure for developers who do not want to run provers themselves. RISC Zero publishes security advisories and has commissioned external audits of its circuits, and it maintains a public bug bounty program. It is one of the two most widely integrated general-purpose zkVMs alongside SP1.
