SP1

Open Source

Succinct's open-source zkVM that proves execution of ordinary Rust programs using a Plonky3-based STARK stack.

About

SP1 is a zero-knowledge virtual machine from Succinct that proves correct execution of standard RISC-V programs, letting teams write provable logic in ordinary Rust instead of circuit languages. It is built on Plonky3 components with STARK proving and SNARK wrapping for cheap on-chain verification, and it is used in production for rollups, bridges, and light clients. Succinct has commissioned multiple external audits of SP1 and runs a bug bounty; as with any zkVM, soundness bugs in its constraint logic would be critical, so its audit history is directly relevant to integrators.
